Product Overview
The transmitter has stable performance, high sensitivity, fast response, stable output, and is suitable for all kinds of soil. It is an important tool for observing and studying the occurrence, evolution, improvement, and water-salt dynamics of saline soil. By measuring the dielectric constant of the soil, it can directly and stably reflect the true moisture content of various soils. It can measure the volume percentage of soil moisture, which is a soil moisture measurement method that meets the current international standards. It can be buried in the soil for a long time, is resistant to long-term electrolysis, corrosion, vacuum potting, and is completely waterproof.
The transmitter is suitable for temperature, moisture, conductivity, and pH value testing in soil moisture monitoring, scientific experiments, water-saving irrigation, greenhouses, flowers and vegetables, grasslands, soil rapid testing, plant cultivation, sewage treatment, and precision agriculture.

Reminder on measurement

The sensor only measures fast-acting NPK, which is the soluble ionized NPK. Urea cannot be measured before it is decomposed

The sensor can only measure the change of the overall content of NPK, and cannot measure the value of N, P or K separately. To measure the value of N, P or K separately, only chemical methods and chemical reagents can be used

When measuring, the soil moisture must be kept above 20%

Precautions
Since the electrode directly measures the conductivity of soluble salt ions in the soil, the soluble ions in the soil can correctly reflect the conductivity of the soil only when the soil volume moisture content is higher than about 20%. In long-term observation, the measured value after irrigation or rainfall is closer to the true level. If a quick measurement is performed, water the soil to be measured first, and then measure after the water has fully penetrated.
If measuring on a harder surface, a hole should be drilled first (the hole diameter should be smaller than the probe diameter), then inserted into the soil and compacted before measuring; the transmitter should be protected from severe vibration and impact, and should not be hit with hard objects. Since the transmitter is packaged in black, it will heat up sharply (up to 50°C or more) under strong sunlight. In order to prevent excessive temperature from affecting the temperature measurement of the transmitter, please pay attention to sunshade and protection when using it in the field or outdoors.

The steel needle must be fully inserted into the soil during measurement.

Avoid strong sunlight directly shining on the transmitter, which may cause the temperature to be too high. Pay attention to lightning protection when using it outdoors.

When measuring parameters such as PH, conductivity, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and fertility, the soil needs to be kept moist (more than 20%).

The protection level of the transmitter is IP68, and the transmitter can be soaked in water.

When used for the first time, there are oil stains on the probe. It is recommended to insert it into the soil several times in a row to grind off the oil stains on the needle before measuring.

Among the 5 probes, there is a black probe that is a consumable. In the application of long-term measurement of acidic soil, it is recommended to use a sensor with a replaceable needle.

The PH value cannot be read immediately after the sensor is inserted into the soil. The PH value can only be read after the value is stable. The waiting time is different for different soils. Insert the soil and wait for about 3-5 minutes for the data to stabilize before reading
